Alberta's retail trade value decreased by 0.2% in October 2019 compared to October 2018, to $6.72 billion. Nationally, retail sales decreased by 0.6% over the same time frame. In Alberta, clothing & accessories (+17.0%) saw the largest increase, while electronics & appliances (-16.2%) had the largest decrease.
