Alberta's retail trade value increased by 3.9% in September 2021 compared to September 2020, to $7.4 billion. Nationally, retail sales increased by 4.8% over the same time frame. In Alberta, gasoline stations had the largest increase (+22.5%) , while motor vehicle and parts had the largest decrease (-5.3%).
