In June 2019, the value of Alberta's manufacturing sales decreased by 0.9% compared with June 2018, to $6.49 billion. Petroleum and coal product manufacturing saw the largest increase (+23.9%), while 'Chemical' products had the largest decrease (-7.2%). Prince Edward Island recorded the largest increase in year over year growth at 21.0% to $1.14 billion, while New Brunswick recorded the largest decrease, contracting 14.1 to $8.51 billion.
