Farm cash receipts decreased by 8.7% to $3.03 billion in the third quarter of 2018 as compared to the same quarter last year. The national average for Q3 was a decrease of 0.5%. Alberta saw the largest decrease of any province, while New Brunswick had the largest increase (+17.5%). Alberta crop receipts and direct payments declined 25.5% and 12.2% respectively, while livestock receipts increased 7.1% to $1.72 billion
