The number of Alberta business bankruptcies in February 2023 increased by 6.7% from the same period a year ago, from 15 to 16. The number of Canadian bankruptcies increased by 17.6% over the same time period. In Alberta, consumer bankruptcies increased by 9.8%, from 184 in February 2022 to 202 in February 2023.
