Total employment in Alberta increased by 38,200 jobs between August 2020 and September 2020. On a year-over-year basis, employment decreased by 142,700 jobs or -6.1% in July. Over the same period, Canada's employment decreased by 3.6% or by 685,000 jobs. Full-time employment had the largest year-over-year change, decreasing 6.7% compared to September 2019. Part-time employment decreased by 3.4% over the same period.
