Alberta urban housing starts increased to 2,374 in October 2017, a year-over-year increase of 15.0%. Canadian starts increased 16.1% over the same period. Apartments and row units decreased 34.0% and 18.5% respectively, while single-detached rose 14.0%. Semi-detached saw a small decrease of 2.4%.
