The number of air passengers passing through Alberta's three largest airports decreased 0.8% in October 2016 from the same period a year earlier. 48.6% of those passengers went through Calgary International Airport as domestic passengers. Calgary international traffic saw the greatest increase (+8.3%), while Fort McMurray domestic traffic saw the greatest drop (-33%).
